Scriptures and the Secret Place
Scriptures and the Secret Place is a Christian meditation podcast inviting you to slow down, breathe, and dwell in the presence of the Lord. Each week, we focus on a Scripture of the Week — meditating deeply so God’s Word can take root in our hearts and transform our minds.
We intentionally spend a full week on one scripture to truly embrace, absorb, and live it before moving on, allowing the Word to become revelation in our lives.
Through repetition and reflection, each meditation helps you:
- Let Scripture take root in your heart
- Receive revelation through the Holy Spirit
- Memorize the Word to stay encouraged and stand firm against the lies of the enemy
Join us weekly as we journey deeper into God’s Word — one verse, one meditation, one encounter with Him at a time.

Hello and welcome to Scriptures and the Secret Place, your Christian meditation channel. This is your safe space to slow your mind, to take a breath, and enter the loving presence of Jesus. How are you doing, loved ones? What season do you find yourself in? Are you facing challenges that are testing your patience? Are you in a season of hurt that's leaving you confused and hopeless? Do you find yourself in a season of blessings, and yet you struggle to trust its beauty? We will face many seasons in our life, and although these may always change, we have a God that never does. We have a God who is our firm foundation through it all and brings purpose to each season we face. Today we will meditate on Ecclesiastes 3:1. But before we do, let us first settle into this time with Jesus by taking deep, nourishing breaths. Take a deep breath in through the nose, filling right up from your belly. And a long breath out through the mouth. Take a deep breath in. And a long breath out. Take another deep breath in, and on your exhale, allow your breath to come out with an audible sigh. Let's do this once more. Deep breath in and out with an audible sigh. Father God in heaven, we come to you in Jesus' name and we pray for your presence. Your child on the other side of this meditation finds themselves in a season that requires your perspective. Some of us may be experiencing extreme difficulty. I need your strength, patience, and trust to press forward. While some of us may be in a fruitful season, needing a reminder to embrace our blessings and trust in the goodness that we are experiencing. Either way, we humble ourselves before you and pray that through today's meditation and in our time in the secret place with you, that you help us surrender and trust in your timing, knowing there is a time for every matter under heaven. Remind us that although the seasons constantly change, you never do. Remind us to hold to your faithfulness during the good seasons and the difficult ones, knowing each one lives within your perfect timing and serves a purpose. And as we move forward in this meditation, we pray that you please reveal to every person listening what it is you need them to know during this season of their life. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen. I am going to read Ecclesiastes 3, 1 to 8 before we meditate on Ecclesiastes 3-1. Continue to take deep, nourishing breaths as you listen to the Word of God. For everything there is a season, a time for every matter under heaven, a time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to break down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh. A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together. A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. A time to seek and a time to lose. A time to keep and a time to cast away. A time to tear and a time to sow. A time to keep silence and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace. In this time, let us sit with the Holy Spirit and share with Titsheavy on our heart about the season we are currently experiencing. I'll give you a few moments now. Let's take this time to hear from God. Jesus, we pray that you please reveal to us what it is you want us to know about the season we face. We silence her voices now so we may hear yours. Take these next few moments to open your heart to the wisdom of Jesus. Remember, you live in God's perfect timing, and although we may not see it now, every season serves a purpose which will be revealed to us in his time. May God's patience, love, and blessings be upon you.
